Thank you for the kind thoughts, wishes and prayers, everyone ^_^ ! Unfortunately, because it seems like time is always getting away, I don't always get to read every message that's posted here on the board, but for someone to see one tiny message like that - to have a support group like you guys (and gals ^_~ ) is above and beyond :D . I thank you again ^^ !
It has been a trying week. We all are getting better, the three out of the four of us in the car. Unfortunately my brother will probably have to have some surgery on his head, but we'll find out more of what kind on Monday. I'll kind of stay sway from the particulars right now since all of the insurance companies are still working things out and Doctors appointments are ongoing, etc... but I can reassure that it wasn't my fault ;) heh.....
Also something interesting is that it happened on a U.S. Highway on an Indian Reservation... something that Val, I believe, can relate to since he moved to one recently (please correct me if I'm wrong). They were the greatest ^_^ !!! The Tribal Police were so warm, caring and friendly - came to the hospital to check up on us afterwards. The EMS crew were very nice. The staff at the Indian Hospital (the first hospital we were at before we were transferred off the reservation to a different hospital, where the service was sub-par :( ) were top-notch, so wonderful, nice, once again caring... I don't know how many times we've driven through that town since I was a kid (a three hour drive from my house to my grandparents - this time we were driving back from my grandmother's funeral ~_~ ), I just never knew what a wonderful place it was - I can't stop saying enough wonderful things about that place :) !
I'm planning on doing something special over Christmas break for the folks up there as a thank you, if they allow... once we're all mended up. My whole family was blown away by the how we were received - something that was badly needed after an accident like that. It puts a whole different perspective on things! Maybe a future mission :o ? Who knows :p ~
Anyways, I've babbled on long enough. I may go into a little more detail about the accident down the road, but for now, thank you once again everyone ^_^ ! It'll be nice when this is all said and done ;) .....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
