... is that this phenomenon is probably more a result of the psychological effects that having their hair cut had on the trackers, as opposed to there being some literally psychic ability imparted by having long hair.

Question man: how did you find out your Native American roots?
Reason I'm asking is this: my gpa used to work on our family's geneology and I found through his studies that an ancestor of mine married a Native American woman. it was cool as hell to find that out.
