I ran across a video of a gorgeous young woman with long hair on youtube today and there is some sick freak harassing her telling her to cut if off and suggesting that HE let her allow her to shave her bald!
I don't know about you guys , but if this was my girlfriend I would be really heated up and want to know where this sicko lived so I could pay him a personal visit!!
Beautiful woman with long hair harassed by psycho!
check out the below link: a psychological profile of these haircut freaks. they are very insecure about their masculinity and fear emasculation. they think short hair makes them more masculine. i personally would feel emasculated if i shaved my head.
duncan
What about these guys that get off on seeing women get all of their hair cut off and insist that women(like the lady in the video) get's her cut short?
I didn't watch the video of a woman getting her hair cut, because i don't like to watch anybody's hair being cut off, regardless of whether male or female.
But, re. the article about haircut fetishes, true, the article was about how many gay men are obsessed with short hair being = to feelings of looking and/or feeling more "masculine"... Not a problem I've ever had to worry about or deal with, that's for sure, as I definitely am an example of at least one gay man who hates hates HATES haircuts (LOL)!!!!

Ken, Believe me. You are not the only one. I have always thought long hair on a man gives him a masculine look. I believe that the reason so many gay men have gone to short cropped or shaved heads is the need to "fit in" I loved the late 60s, and through the 70s into the early 80s when hair on males was longer as a rule (yes even a mullet, on some men, looked masculine) I hate haircuts, for me, so true. I wish more men hated them as well. (sigh)
I always thought the reason why many gay men wear very short hair is that they don't want to be seen as effeminate by other gays and mainstream society. Many lesbians wear very short hair and maybe ignorant people think that long hair on men means being effeminate. Many mainstream people who don't really know anything about the gay community except through the TV still think most gay men are effeminate and seeing people like Perez Hilton, Elton John doesn't do the gay community any favours as this can paint a distorted view of things to outsiders. I certainly have had a real education here since joining the Long Hair board some of my misconceptions have changed and I realise that there many gays here who are not vain and shallow and are masculine and who do challenge the gay stereotype. The media has been used to brainwash and condition people. I admire people like Ken and Dee and others who are real and not artificial and shallow posers. cheers, duncan
I think everyone looks better with Long hair regardless of gender.
most women know they would not look good with a G.I. Jane cuts.
it's too bad most Men have not figured out that they would look much better with Hair!!
Long Haired people have a better sense of humor too!
The article was obviously written by a gay guy but it is more about hair cut fetishists then about gay men. The writer just happen to say that he was involved in the hair cut fetish community and said that nearly all were gay. There is probably some truth in this but I merely put the article up for discussion and am not an expert in this fetish. Certainly from reading the posts of some of the gay members on the Long Hair board who have regularly bought up the fact that they generally get more harassment and criticism by other gays to get hair cuts. Also gay men as a group have generally far shorter hair then a similar group of mainstream straight guys. I also think most men are happier having short hair anyway and so long hair is something that only a minority of men would want given the choice.
Obviously some hair cut fetish people are straight but I think at the heart of a fetish is that seeing people have their hair cut off it is quite possibly for a gay person into this fetish to get excited seeing a member of either sex get a hideous hair cut. I think most straight men including me would not want to see a womens hair butchered though there are straight men who would. Still there are some people out there who have a very strong short hair identity and are polar opposites to those of us who strongly feel an attachment to having long hair. cheers, duncan
Me neither, but I could appreciate a well cut Bob or shoulder length style as much as a mid-back to waist length style on a lady ,but that haircut fetish stuff you are discussing is for social deviants imho.
to sit there and watch some woman getting her hair hacked off or buzzed seems very peculiar to me.
I think these people are definitely NOT playing with a full deck!
from the site you provided a link to:
"As soon as you find yourself linking your own feelings of masculinity with your hairstyle, stop yourself. Recognize that the association is irrational and makes no logical sense. Masculinity is not intrinsically linked with the length of ones hair. A short haircut does NOT necessarily make one more masculine (and thus more desirable). When you change your thoughts, you change your actions."
Now, could it be possible that the majority of these guys into getting buzzcuts on a regular basis might have some serious issues with their masculity as is described in the article?
makes you wonder.
did you guys see some of the videos he has on his own site?
there are some with underage girls getting their heads shaved.
what compels a person to have such a deviant interest is beyond me!
