Hello guys =)
Long time no post ^^ I have to say that although I might seem absent, I still do check in everyday to follow people's progress and I'm quite happy to see so many friendly faces enjoying life and their hair =)
I'm posting because I've been looking for a site, I think it was called "World of Hair", and it was basically a book that got into very deep detail about hair, it's growth, how it can be processes, such as colour, heat and so on... It was very usefull and I am needing it because a friend is doing an assignment on hair science and I really wanted to find this for her.
Does anyone know of this site or where can I find that information? Or even the information that was in there?
Thanks so much in advance guys =)
I'll have you know also that my hair got to classic lenght (which I think I posted about at the time). It got there last September =) I have trimmed it back to a little above in order to thicken my ends though, and I've been loving that process!
Thanks for still being around to newcomers, this is such a great starting place for hair related confidence =) Thanks guys ^^
Hey! I don't know the site you speak of, but nevertheless I wanted to thank you for your fantastic site of your growing process. It really helped me.
Take care!
I'm glad I could be of help =) It has been a pleasure ^^ Take care too =)
This site has a lot of basic information on hair care:

I don't think they cover color but this might be a good start for your friend.
Hey Nate! Thanks for the link! I'll be sure to share it with her and I think it'll be of help indeed ;)
Hello Joao,
Here's the information you need
The book is called
The World of Hair by Dr. John Gray (there are 24 copies available either in paperback or hardback which you can find on a book website called ABEBOOKS. (abebooks.com.) I already own the hardback of this book as I collect books on Hair and can say that it is an excellent reference book indeed! Loads of rich information and well illustrated with a rich array of photographs on hair and scalp conditions.
The online book website is below: (here's to hoping the link works -fingers crossed!
when searching for the book on ABEBOOKS don't type in Dr John Gray.just John Gray and World of Hair for the title only and actually there are only 5 copies listed of this particular work whereas the 24 titles are most of his other books on Hair colouring. However the good news is that the online text available through the P & G Beauty and Grooming website is identical to the text in the book so in essence your getting exactly the same information as is found in the book. Also the book was written a good 20 years ago and many of the photographs are from the 1980's period but still it's a wonderful work of reference to read up on about hair.
cheers,
ducnan

Thanks so much for your help =D
