Sorry I haven't been very active as of late. I've been incredibly busy with student teaching and coaching track. All the athletes I coach call me coach Thor, which I thought you guys would find funny. Just wanted to let you guys know I'm still around and still have long hair. I think I've reached the longest length I can achieve without getting fairy tale ends. Here's a picture of my girlfriend and I over Christmas. She just took about 6 inches off her hair and I think mine might be longer than hers now. I'll try to be more active on the board when I've got the time. It's good to see some newer members here.
Wow, what an awesome "hair" couple! Both of you have magnificent manes.
Thanks for stopping in to let us know you are still with us Garth:)Don't worry
about your participation as we all get busy at times and things take priority.Cheers my friend!
Mark
Thanks. It's good to know you guys understand that we can get busy.
You both have awesome manes. It's so cool when both members of a couple are longhairs!
Thanks Jason. How are things coming alone with your kid? If I recall you're having a baby boy right?
Yes, he's due in less that three weeks now. Given the way my wife looks, I expect him anytime!
Wow, I didn't realize it was so soon. Time seems to fly by sometimes. I hope these last few weeks go smoothly for you guys.
Really amazing hair!!! So nice to see a guy who is not conflicted about his hair, just enjoying it. You are a true role model. sj
Thanks. I get nothing but compliments from my students and athletes.
Garth, you and your girlfriend have incredible manes! You could knit a blanket with all that hair.
Looking forward to reaching that length. My hair was getting the fairy-tale ends. I liked it but I became tired of it. I followed the YouTube video of Feye's U-ahape trim...
Dee.
Thanks Dee.
Kick ass length, Garth! Looking good there, brother \m/
Thanks Mark! Your hair is looking really good too.
Question for you. How long did it take you to reach that length?

Around 4 years to reach close to this length. It's been 6 years since I started growing it, but it's been about the same length for the last two years.
Love it ! and quite a compliment !
Your hair is truly enviable...Yes, I am jealous ! Ha !
Thanks for Sharing
WWT
Thanks for the compliments! I'll keep that in mind if I ever think of cutting it.
Thanks fot a great dhot Garth, and a couple in perfect harmony with each other. Fabulous, Ian
Thanks Ian. We get a lot of compliments when we go out with our hair down.
Hi Garth,
What a great photo, and it is really cool to see both of your on this long-haired journey together! Both of you have awesome heads of hair!
Keep it growing,
David
Thanks David! It's nice to be with someone that doesn't think it's weird to trim split ends while watching tv.
Hey Thor,
Keep wielding that hammer! Your hair looks fantastic!
peace, jonalbear
Thanks Jonalbear.
Wow you have beautiful long hair, I reallly like your hair, Both you and your girlfriend have great heads of hair.
Tom(Hairboy)
Thanks Tom.
Nice picture. Great to have the shared interest and support of tour girlfriend. Both of you have awesome hair. Good luck with work.
Tony
Thanks Tony. I'm looking forward to finally having a real job.
Good luck with that and keep the hair long no matter what. It is all about your skills and will to do the work and not about the length of your hair.

Both of you look great. 6 inches is a serious trim. She must have had classic length hair prior to the trim. Now both of you have similar length hair.
I suggest just letting your hair to grow to full length, even if fairy tale ends are the result. (My hair is full length with fairy tale ends and reaches my knees.)
Scott
Thanks. I really prefer to have the straight cut look over the fairy tale ends. I feel like it's a cleaner look, like you actually want to have long hair and not just that you don't like haircuts. That's just my opinion.
I agree 100%. Straight across blunt cut; my mom has done mine a couple times. She calls it a "9-year-old girl's cut" LOL.
Looks great Garth. Glad your doing well with your teaching and track coaching. Congrats. Take care and I will catch ya later. Steve
Thanks Steve.
Two great sets of hair there Garth.
Thanks Sorted. Your hair looks really good on you if I didn't mention it in your update. The style suits you well.
Garth, that is one nice pair of manes! Looking great - well worth the wait.
Good to hear from you.
- Oren
Thanks Oren.
Hi Garth,
EXCELLENT pic there, and I love your story about you being called, "Coach Thor!"
Your girlfriend definitely has a gorgeous head hair, as well as yourself, I'm impressed by BOTH of your manes!!
Thanks for the update -- it's always nice hearing from you!

Thanks Ken.
