Thank you to everyone who left nice comments on the two photos I posted last week. My hair doesn't always look as nice as it did in those pics. In particular, it gets really wild and "frizzy-looking" whenever I blow dry it. I usually comb it when I get out of the shower and then just let it dry on its own, but sometimes I'm in a hurry and need to blow dry it, in which case it looks like this (photo taken 18 months ago). Blowdrying also tends to make it pick up static electricity and feels dry and kind of bushy. The static electricity really bothers me. Does anyone have any suggestions for avoiding this problem?
I must say you have a beautiful head of hair, love the length and thickness,,,just beautiful. Tom(Hairboy)
My hair isn't quite as long as yours but here's my suggestions. Try using a large finger diffuser on your blow dryer. These allow the heat into your hair while diffusing the air so it doesn't puff up your hair. You might also try applying an anti-frizz serum to your hair prior to drying. Lastly try leaving your hair slightly damp at the end of your drying process. Allowing the last bit of moisture to dry out naturally should help reduce the frizziness.

I think your hair is beautiful. Maybe I should try the blowdryer so that I could get the fullness you have. Tommie
WOW,
I just saw the pictures of your hair. Amazing hair.
Your not going to post about problems with your waist being too thin and your wallet being too thick are you ? LOL
Hair looks great, and the hair dryer probably does that to almost everyone.
But like you, I would also like to know if there is something that can stop the hair dryer frizzies.
Take care
I towel dry as much as possible and then before blow drying spray with a leave inconditioner. i prefer infusium myself. the leave in conditioner really helps

Your hair is really beautiful!
Hi Jann,
Your hair looks excellent here, with outstanding thickness, and I don't see the problems that you are speaking of. I don't blow dry myself, so don't have any real suggestions, but possibly a small amount of "leave in" conditioner might help to tame any flyaways.
Keep it growing,
David
Hi Jann,
You have TERRIFIC-looking long hair!!! I can see what you mean about the ends of your hair looking rather dry, however.
My suggestion would be to not completely dry w/ the blow-dryer -- to let the final drying stages just be air-drying it naturally (as someone else I believe said in their reply as well); but to also try massaging a little bit of beneficial oil into the ends, too.... This has worked well for me, at least (and also helped cut down on split ends for me as well).
I hope my comments have helped -- but again, in general, I think your mane looks pretty damn AWESOME!!
