Hello MLHH, long time no see.
I used to frequent here back in 2007-2009 but have had some time off, and have decided to return. I went by PhoeniXCE and PHX606.
In that time I have re-grown my hair but back in June I shaved my hair off for the final time.
I am now 22, I know I don't look it, but I am :D
But yes, I would like to update you with my new hair growing journey, this time I haven't been hitting the hair dyes constantly :) Just one or two maintenance cuts, but other than that I am finding it a lot easier than I used to.

Hope you guys enjoy :)

Hi Chris,
Welcome back :) Looks like you're off to a great start. Now avoid those trims & dyes, and keep us posted!

Thanks you :D
Hey Chris,
It's good to see you back at MLHH. Don't take this the wrong way but you have something to prove to the community. You have repeatedly grown it out a bit, dyed it and cut it. You have made a website in the past with grand proclamations of your intentions and soon your hair is cut off.
I faced an impediment of religious intolerance which forced me to have long bangs for a while instead of fulling growing my hair. Once I exited the high control situation, it was non-stop full-speed to becoming a longhair.
If you like just growing your hair out to a longish length and then cutting it and repeating the cycling endlessly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. You'll pardon us, though, if we're a bit skeptical that you will actually follow through to growing hair long enough to be considered that of a longhair. When/if you reach the stage of having hair long enough to all reach a tie, you will have proven your intentions. Until then, I for one, will not be waiting with bated breath.
You have great quality hair, it would look fantastic long so DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I fully understand that.
I have made a lot of changes in my life and felt I have grown up from the person I used to be.
I was a teenager back then, I hadn't fully discovered who I was, there were unresolved issues with my past too. But these are things I have overcome.
I feel becoming a long hair will be therapeutic and a mirror of the fact I have changed for the better.

That's great to hear, Chris. I look forward to following your journey to its completion this time.
Welcome back, Chris -- and yes, I definitely remember you! (I used to go by the handle, "Urban Cowboy")
Since Validus and Jason have already commented on the topic of suggesting you avoid both hair dyes and frequent trimmings (as used to happen a lot in the past), I'll just say that it's nice to see you back here again, and that I wish you well in both hair growth, and in continued personal growth (as in, life in general - LOL)....
Anyway, as the old saying here goes, "Onward & Downward!"
