Hey guys,
I posted a few months back deciding that I was going to grow out my hair out for the 2nd time in my life.
Here is a pic of me at 2 months growth from a 0.5 buzz (almost shaved to the scalp). I think my growth rate is fairly quick.
Thanks to this board I've gained insightful knowledge on care and maintenance of hair. I'll be trying to use that info the best I can haha.
I don't know how long I'll grow out my hair until, we'll see where this journey takes me.
If any of you guys have extra advice on growing out EXTREMELY thick wavy hair, please let me know it would be much appreciated.
B.
Welcome to the MLHH and congratulations on a good start back to "longhairdom"
Just let it grow and post a photo now and then....we will sympathize for you during the awkward stage.
Good Luck and Thanks for Sharing

Hello B: You have great looking hair, love the thickness and the dark color, beautiful you will find much info and needed help on the site, great hearing from a soon to be longhair.

Good luck with your hair journey. The best advice I can give for getting through the awkward phase is get a hat. You'll have lots of days when you want to chop it all off because it's sticking out all over the place and looks like a bird's nested on your head, but if you stick with it, that does pass. We've all been through it, so it can be done.
Bry,
Nice start to your journey. Good luck!-----My advice for thick wavy hair is to wash with mild shampoo and conditioner a couple times a week! Looking forward to more updates!
