Hiii y'all 'LongHornz' ... whoopz = I mean 'LongHairz' ... K = pic.#3. = November: 2011.
Welcome to the MLHH, and congratulations on the success you've had in growing your hair. But...
Please note the following from the FAQ, regarding the use of language that is clear and readable to our community members:
11. May I post in foreign languages, use regional expressions, or use "text messaging" lingo or similar abbreviations?
The purpose of our site is for us to communicate with each other, and posts should be made to be as readable by others as possible. As best you can, please post in English and use standard spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Avoid all but the most common abbreviations. Try to avoid expressions that are not understood in all regions or by all generations. Foreign language posts are fine from users who do not know English or in the occasional banter between users who share a language; however such posts will be removed if the crew cannot ascertain their meaning. Use of "text messaging" lingo or similar abbreviations is prohibited. There is no need for them since most of our users are not viewing the site with small handheld screens. Text messaging lingo and regional expressions are difficult for some native speakers of English to read, and these are nearly impossible for most users whose native language is not English to read. The reason you post is to get your words read, and we consider the writer's one-time effort to make his post readable a more efficient use of everyone's time than making several hundred users each spend extra time to figure out what the writer meant. The purpose of this rule is not to discourage those with no or limited English skills from posting. It is to discourage those from using poor English who should know better.
you took the words right out of my mouth. This post is a perfect example why this rule is in place.Thankfully the text was short as I never would have made it to the end had it been much longer. Not to pick on the visitor but certain standards need to be met.Otherwise the hair pics are great as I always cheer for continued growth:)

Thanks Val. ... I will cease & desist from using slang. My passion for long hair is partly due to the fact that it signifies persistence, patience, pluck, dedication & strength of conviction; as growing a long, healthy mane takes between 2-5 years so no-one enters into it, light of heart, to go the long haul. I have a steely determination now to see it through, enjoying the journey as go = as each new length brings with it new challenges, presentations, compliments ( or not ) ... its nice to see others equally passionate also ... thanks for sharing & listening ... CEM. :O)
Can you post in your best English please, without the necessary 'text' (eg "str8")speak and other symbol.s They add nothing and make your posts unreadable.
OK ... I promise ! :O)
Please can you write in proper english please! Coz I don't do text speak!

Hi CEM,
Three things:
1) Your hair looks great & suits you well. I l like the layering too.
2) About those layers, how did they come to be? Did you have them cut in? I'm sometimes tempted to do that myself, although I worry my hairdresser would go overboard and mess it all up...
3) This community is indeed not too fond of shorthand language (maybe an analogy with the adversity to short hair, haha!). It's an integral part of the rules of this place, so do make sure you take a moment to "decrypt" your thoughts and type them out for us, and you'll be fine!
Hi Mick - been off line for a while frolicking on the farm - thank you for your compliment = re: my layers, it really was a short style grown out, with slight layering through the top - but all layering stopped 1 year ago, my intent is to just grow it now = no more haircuts for me
