Hi everyone,
February's here... unseasonably warm weather with a snow storm on the horizon - what strange weather this century, huh :p ?
...and another month. Time just flies now, more learning to do with my hair. As it gets longer, I've discovered that it becomes easier to pull out - not like it was earlier :/ . Oh well, don't do stupid things to it like I did the other day when 30+ strands came out of one single spot and everything should be fine :D .
Hair washing routine has changed a bit. Now that the hair is easier to come out, I keep it all back when soaping up, washing out, etc. Interesting things to learn :p ...
Last month I think I mentioned some odd, way-off figure for how long I've been growing out my hair... it's now officially 23 months - next month will be the two year mark :D !
Anyways, hope everyone enjoys global warming :p and please have a great month ^^ !
Sincerely,
yoshiki ^_^
A great update yoshiki, your hair looks great as always. Not much global warming in the UK at the moment - it's freezing!
Hi Ian,
Thanks for the compliment ^^ ! Climate extremes, my friend, climate extremes ^_~ (we'll probably get it next winter >_> ). Keep warm over there ;) ~.....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
yoshiki,
Great progress so far at almost 2 years.
Wonderful color and curl!
peace, jonalbear
Hi jonalbear,
Thank you :) ! I still haven't figures out how to get my hair in and out of a regular, cheap and safe hair tie with all of the curls without pulling out two or three strands of hair each time :/ . My wife has straight hair, so she can't give me pointers right off the bat, but hopefully she can watch me soon and see what's going on @_@ (wavy hair can be a blessing yet a curse at the same time :p hah).
You wouldn't happen to have any advice, would 'ya :) ?
Sincerely,
yoshiki
yoshiki, I like to wear my hair without tying it back as much as possible. When I do tie it back(cooking, workout etc)I must admit I have the same problem as you. Pulling the tie out slowly and as straight as possible is what I try to do.
peace, jonalbear
Hi jonalbear,
Unfortunately, I have to tie my hair back because of what I do, so leaving it untied is a no-no. Also, my hair tie won't come slide straight off without undoing one of the loops first :/ . Hmmm, maybe my hair ties are too tight :o ? How many times do you loop yours when you have to do it???
Oh well, hopefully I'll figure it out one of these days ^_~ heh.....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Nice update! Can you do a full low ponytail yet? Keep it going!
Hi Josh,
Barely. I just tried tonight for the first time on your note and it all barely fits :o (reminds me of how my hair was in a ponytail for the first time four months ago :p ). I wonder what my wife will say after she gets home tonight from work :D .....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Do you have the monthly low ponytail pic? :D
Hi Josh,
It looks kind'a pathetic right now, but it my first low-ponytail, so hopefully it gets better from here >_>. Hopefully it's not too bad :o heh~.....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
I looks a lot longer than last month. Keep it growing!
Hi Josh,
Thanks - sure will :) !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Greetings yoshiki,
First off your hair is looking ever so fantastic after two years of dedicated growth:)I hope that trend continues for the next two and beyond. You certainly are in line to be the envy of the board here:)
As for the weather I'll certainly welcome it as I do prefer it warmer.Unfortunately its bad for my line of work but you can't have everything.lol.Cheers my friend
Mârk
Hi Mârk,
Hah, thanks, I definitely hope for two years and WAY beyond... who knows how many :D ! Also, thank you for the kind words ^^ . Honestly, there are so many guys here on this board with such great hair - if there is anyone to or in line to envy, it would all-the-way be them ;) .....
Talking about maybe 10" of snow overnight into tomorrow. Luckily I have the day off, but snowblowing is always a pain - especially the first real time having to do it this season ~_~ . Good luck doing your work - hope it doesn't dump on you, too :o !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Great update.....you have a beautiful and impressive mane for less than two years.
Thanks for Sharing
WWT
Hi White Tail,
Thanks ^^ ! Coming up on two years, then looking forward to three :D !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Your hair looks awesome !!
The texture and waves, etc. look a lot like mine.
Can be a bit troublesome sometimes - but your hair looks amazing, dude.
Hi John,
Hey, thanks a lot ^_^ ! You're right, wavy/curly hair is a bit of a trouble, but I'd take it over straight any day :) (can't believe I'm the same person who loathed curly hair ten/fifteen years ago). Onwards and downwards to both of us, huh ^_~ ?
Sincerely,
yoshiki

Everything looks great, Yoshiki. As your hair gets longer, you may want to part it front to back for washing and drying. I do this myself. I call it a split wash. It reduces hair loss due to tangling and speeds up drying a bit as well.
Scott
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the advice - I had never thought of that one before :) . Just recently my wife suggested washing my hair with my hair all going in the direction of my back (if I'm saying that right :p ), but this is a good one too so I think I'll try it. Thanks again ^^ !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
