I used to have hair that was shoulder-length or a bit less all over, with the result being that the front constantly fell into my face and obscured my vision. I was getting so sick of having to brush my hair out of my eyes every 10 seconds that I decided to get fringe cut in, with the rationale that it looked good on me when my hair was short. But it turns out that with longer hair in the back, the fringe becomes extremely feminising. I like androgyny and I'm used to being mistaken for a girl, so it wasn't a huge drawback for me, but I would advise all guys who are not comfortable looking androgynous to steer clear of fringe.
Here are some photos for the curious.

You wear it well! Go for what you like!
That's a great look for you, for sure. I've always found people are more accepting of long hair if it looks really good and your certainly does. If you have no problem with being perceived as a bit androgynous (as I don't either) it works.
You've certainly got great looking hair. If I were asked to vote on which style looks better, I'd have to say the "before" style is the better looking, but that's just my preference, and everyone should do as they feel most comfortable with.
Beautiful color and even though I personally prefer bangs, I like the first look better but I totally understand how irritating that can be. They grow out too !
Ok i've got to ask this, what is the difference between Frings
and Bangs?
I'd think if you want to keep hair out of your eyes you'd be better off with all the hair one length that can be pulled into
a pony tail or braided.
They are two different words for the same thing. "Fringe" is the British English word and "bangs" is the American English. Some British English speakers, myself included, avoid using the word "bangs" even around Americans because in British English it is a sexual term.
What band is that? I feel like I should know, haha.
Manowar.
''Sons of Odin''
Funny thing is I'm a huge manowar c
*manowar fan lol. I dont watch many live videos though.

The band is Manowar, and the person of interest is Karl Logan.
Here is a second collage of Karl Logan photos.

Facial hair might help.
I used to love, love LOVE my bangs when I had them. I had bangs since, well, since I've had hair! I started to grow them out a couple years ago but may just go ahead and cut them back in. I miss the look.
If you have a photo, I'd like to see it.
I think that bangs work better on men if you have a side part with shaggy bangs that sweep to the side. I used to have that years ago and it didn't look girly. Not that I would have cared.
I've found that if you want to keep hair out of your eyes
the best solutions are to tie it in a pony tail, braid it,
or put it in a bun. Ultimately I wanted the hair all in one
length, so bangs/fringe was out of the question for me.
The other draw back to bangs/fringe is that you have to constantly
trim it to keep it out of you eyes.
So chose to let it grow, never to be cut, and use other methods to
keep it out of my eyes.
And since i've now sworn off trims bangs/fringe are not an option.
YMMV.
The best solution is to have your hair done in a french braid, as much shorter hair can be braided that way. I wish i had known that when i was growing out my hair. Wayne
