I just read this article in the NYTs and it has the same old, worn out lame excuses for why men should actually be allowed to do something with long hair.

I take my (head)braid and tie it up into a knot by tieing it twice. With the twisty elastic on the end of the braid, it keeps the end from slipping out of the knot and untieing itself during the day.
