Hey guys !
Not a big poster these days...
Anyway, I felt like posting a crappy picture of me and my hair. So here is it. After reaching belt length, I decided to cut it blunt between elbow and waist, which was a good decision for the shape, the health of the ends and the maintenance time. I still mostly wear it braided or bunned.
On the side of my life: I started a PhD thesis in october 2011. Field : Vibrations/Acoustics. Subject: Damping of vibrations by Acoustic Black Hole effect. Sounds sexy, right ? I now live in a rather small city of France (Le Mans) and I'm rather well paid. I'm fully devoted to bicycle riding (no car intended...) and slowly trying to become vegetarian. On the dark side : my father is very sick, and it's a big concern in my family, and I'm still (or again, depends, eh!) longing to meet a nice girl to share something with; problem is, I'm a still not very open to people and not very talkative. We'll see...
Ouch, it's already time to sleep ! Have a nice day ;)
bye,
Vivien.
Envious of that gorgeous hair! What can I say, but words of praise.
It's good (and pleasantly surprising, I must admit) to hear you're on doctoral studies at this age already. And about the salary, too.
But I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he'll get well. Never give up in life whatever the events, you've made some rather imposing progress regarding your life already, and you're but a year younger than I am.
If anyhow possible, train your inner strength to surpass those Apollonian looks of yours. And at times, of course, use those to find a relief 'avec une garce mignonne' ;-)
Best regards from Serbia,

Hi Vivien,
Well the pic may be grainy but the hair looks fantastic!Your mane has come along well and I'm assuming you are at your goal being you blunted you hair at that length. That's cool as everyone has their preferences and it suits you well:)
That's fascinating about your thesis even though I have little idea what its about but as long as you know that's what matters;)You sure lead an interesting life but hey, your young so go for it my friend. In the end I'm sure you'll find your mate who'll love you and your hair:)Cheers and good night!

Bonjour Vivien,
Looking good! I can only hope to achieve a look like that somewhere in 2013 ;-)
A+
Mick
Hi Vivien, The photo you posted is great and glad to hear your doing well. I certainly wish the very best for your father and family, will be thinking of you. Don't worry about being shy or not talkative, in time it will happen and be worth it. Take care, good luck on your thesis and be careful on your bike. Best to you. Steve
Hi Vivien, nothing crap about that update! Your hair is looking amazing. Congratulations! Hope the news on you Dad will be better soon. Best regards Ian.
Nice update, Vivien -- and I like the pic!! Great hearing from you.... Please keep in touch more often!

Hi Vivien,
Thank you for checking in, and for sharing your update with us. It appears that your trim went very well, and your hair looks thick and healthy.
Also, congrats and a big cheer for the PhD stuff, and good luck with your studies. I will also send along healing thoughts and vibes that your Dad make a full recovery.
Take care,
David

Your hair looks good at that length, and is probably much easier to manage. Removing damaged ends can make things a lot easier.
Good luck at finishing your education.
Bicycles are great transportation, except in stormy weather. (The last thing I want to do is ride a bike in 15 meter per second winds with 2 centimeters of rainfall per hour.)
Hopefully your father will fully recover his health.
The right girl is out there for you. Be patient, sooner or later you will find her.
I am not the most talkative either due to poor social skills. Blame Asperger's syndrome for that.
Scott
Looks great Vivien,
Good luck with your studies!
peace, jonalbear
Vivien, you're looking great! The goatee and stache are good too. I don't think you have to be very talkative to call a girl's attention, just a bit more open to meet people. Congratulations e good luck!
Hair is looking great, Vivien! I believe we are at the same length as of now too. The trim worked great for you indeed!
Hi Vivien,
Always a pleasure to hear from you and what you are doing. I hope your Dad improves his health, and a hearty congratulations in tackling a PhD level at University. At this period of university you could join a few University societies like I did when I was a student and the right girl will come along probably when you are least expecting it. I can sympathise with you as I am not the most outgoing sociable person either. I usually only really open up to a few people where I click with. Probably due to hearing loss it has made it hard to talk to people sometimes hence if you meet someone where you both share a strong mutual interest in something or similar worldview you may open up more. Great to hear from you and all the best for 2012. cheers, Duncan
Your hair is looking brilliant, Vivien. I wish you all the best with your PhD and I hope your father makes a full recovery.
Thanks for the update on your hair and life.....
Congrats on the good stuff...prayers for your Dad.
