Hi Walter, nice to hear from you again:)I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and what she is enduring as it must be hard on you to see her like that.Thankfully you are there to care for her and deep down I know she appreciates that.
Your hair looks great even if not super long. The nice thing about long hair is that even if its only shoulder length it still is "ace" and beats a buzz cut by a mile!lol. That's cool you got to go on a vacation as I'm sure it benefited you.Every so often we all need to get away for awhile to clear our heads.
Anyway thanks for your update pics and letting us know what you've been up to my friend.Be well and come back again:)Cheers

Your hair is looking good Walter. Have you thought of growing a full beard? It would look perfect with your long hair. Lastly, you look quite tall. I am estimating 6 feet (183 cm) I had no idea you were that tall until I saw that photo on the left. Best wishes for 2012. Keep it growing.
Scott
Hi Scott,
I'm not that tall at all. LOL. I'm only 5'7" (170cm). I've already grown full beard some years ago, but my country especially in the summer is really, really hot and humid. We were around 37ºC this week! Having long hair is already a kind of sacrifice. Long hair and beard is almost a torture. I'm posting a pi here with a full beard, so then you can have an idea of how I do look with a beard. Of course that's a five year-old pic so I have to confess that now if I don't dye it I would look like Santa Claus. My beard is about 60% grey nowadays.
Wow, I think you look fantastic with a beard! Of course I'm quite biased when it comes to beards. ;-) And I know all about dealing with grey in the beard as mine is heading that way as well. But as far as it being uncomfortable in hot weather, I haven't found that to be the case as long as I don't allow it to get to be too long. And long hair tailed is actually less a problem in hot weather than medium length hair that won't tail.
Thanks for sharing the pic!

I am amazed, you look a lot taller. I am 175cm tall but look taller and sometimes shorter in photos.
37 degrees C would be lethal to me. I had to move away from a warm climate (Los Angeles to San Francisco CA USA) back in 1978 due to heat related illness.
Long hair must be a real challenge to maintain in such a hot climate. With sufficient length, ponytailing will keep it off your neck. For dyeing your hair, try to use something natural. Henna is a good choice.
