Hi and welcome along. You have started the journey with the the right attitude - keep it natural, keep away from the chemicals and heat, and keep clear of the scissors. Good luck and keep posting those updates. Ian
Good for you going for the long hair and also keeping it natural:)Your goal sounds great and I know you will look fantastic with the long hair especially with your hair color.
Do keep us updated and participate anytime you feel the urge my friend.Cheers

Good luck! I'm also in the same boat and growing my hair.
Hey tonniemier,
Go for it dude!
You've made the right decision to grow your hair long and to do so naturally. Perms, irons, dyes, and scissors are not your hair's friend. Don't let them get anywhere near your head.
Welcome to the tribe! You will have lots of support for your long hair adventure here from your brother longhairs at the MLHH.
I made the decision to let my hair grow out to terminal length eleven (11) months ago. It has now achieved a length of approximately five and one half (5 1/2) in. I have had many people try to persuade me to cut my hair but so far I have resisted. I think that they respect my decision.
I hope that when you achieve twelve (12) in. of growth in two (2) years you will be so pleased with your hair that you will just let it continue to grow out to terminal length.
Please keep us posted on your progress.
Welcome to the tribe!
You're longhaired bro,
Raymond
