  So I stumbled across kind of a neat blog post about technological advances in hair care, there's actually something that can to some extent fix split ends out there (I know, I thought the day would never come either) but uh, yeah: http://thebeautybrains.com/2012/02/01/hair-repair-new-technology-really-works/

  They do a pretty nice critical analysis of the stuff, which works well for my ever skeptical self

    I fear that they are trying to sell something rather than give an independent analysis.

    Nonsense which is best avoided.

      Um, considering the rest of their blog is mostly them telling people that more expensive products don't work better than cheap ones and they mention several brands that work this way I'm pretty sure they're not trying to sell something.

      In another hair care article there are no mentions of products: http://thebeautybrains.com/2012/02/25/whats-the-best-product-for-frizzy-hair/ just chemistry they recommend which is why I thought they seemed like a valid source.
