and other thoughts on ''longhairs''.
I've been lurking here for quite a while, but haven't posted in about 2 or 3 years. I'd say my goal is chest length and as of today it reaches to the middle of my shoulder blades.
Last weekend I went out to a popular hangout for young people in the area with my guy friend and was surprised by how many women approached me about my hair. It was at least 5. I found it odd though because we were in a more upscale, typically conservative city. In the group we were with a couple of them joked that they wanted to get me drunk enough to let them touch my hair. I laughed, but I was the DD so none of that was going to happen.
Another random blonde walked up to me and almost concerned told me never to cut my hair, insisting it was like a trademark. She mentioned that she had a guy friend with hair like mine who cut it and didn't even look like the same person anymore. I thought that was interesting being that I think I've cut my hair twice completely off and always grew it back. I always felt so uncomfortable, like I wasn't myself anymore. This time however, I won't cut my hair.

Hey sol51,
That's quite the amazing head of hair - I can see why you'd want to keep it ;D ! Really thick and the curls are quite something... looks pretty darn good :) ! I'd back you up on this one - keep it growing ^_~ (and keep up the good hair care, too).....
Sincerely,
yoshiki
With hair like that, I'm going to agree and say never cut it! It looks really good on you! :-) Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right! Thanks for sharing!

I agree with the others, it would be a sin against long-haired mankind to cut that mane. Amazing!
I get that a lot, too. My friends are always on me never to cut it. You shouldn't. Why mess with a good thing?
