Are hair dryers damaging to hair because of the heat? or is it rapid air movement? The reason I ask is what if the 'cold' setting is used. What I usually do after taking a shower is run gel through my hair, then turn my head upside down and use a hair dryer just for the cold air. What it does is get rid of the greasy look that gel has when it air dries, but it still provides weight so I dont suffer from 'big hair'. If I use a hair dryer in this way, is it still damaging, or does eliminating heat eliminate damage possibility.
Mixed up the name and subject fields in last post. Its late and im not thinking straight, no big deal.
the damage is done by the heat
I disagree. I wash/condition/blowdry my hair everyday and my hair has no damage at all...
