So, I'm really skinny, can't grow facial hair, and have a soft face. My hair is easily the first thing people notice about me. I'd imagine this is true for a lot of guys with long hair.
Is anyone's dominant physical feature NOT their hair?
Not certain about a dominant feature on everyone. I suppose it is now that the length is mid back and I usually wear it tailed. however, I do notice hair (or lack of it) before other aspects of a persons face. When your age. I had long hair and was also skinny (I preferred "Slender.) had no beard, a light moustache (it would grow, but was blond and red.) and features that were referred to as "Cute"..I was never Handsome. So cute was what I got. Ya live with it.
I have longish hair that is styled, but not as long as yours (but I used to have it that long). And, I gave up on a beard because it grows in like a blighted forest. My hair dominates, although I wear earrings now, too, and they draw attention.
Hi Dylan,
Hmmm, interesting thread which made me think if anything stood out about myself other than my now verrrry red hair:)Being
I'm tall and still manage to remain slender people must notice me as this long lanky guy and I'm sure the hair takes notice too.Other than that there isn't much else that jumps out and bites me.LOL.Cheers my friend...

My hair is about your length. I am 44 years old and I have more gray hair than I used to have. People noticed my broad shoulders more than my hair. My hair is probably 2nd.

Average build? You look like a bodybuilder from the back. Your hair looks super.

Your hair looks super.
That's actually an interesting question to ponder! Less than two years ago, I had totally-unremarkable-length hair, and I am hard pressed to find something that used to be my dominant feature back then ... possibly my long, thin fingers (a.k.a. piano fingers) I guess.
Today it's most definitely the hair.

My hair is the first thing people notice. It reaches my knees. You can't miss it.

Well, it used to be, until I grew that beard thing.
Bill
It is almost always my beard! But my hair sure adds to it when I let it down.

Oren, you've got a man with a beard living in your beard!
Great T-shirt.

He's my Beard Troll ;-)
Got the shirt from KillerBob Graphics. They have a vendor booth every year at our Texas Bear Round Up run.

It depends...
If my hair's loose, it tends to attract a lot of attention, but that's rare these days.
With my hair tied back or braided, people probably notice my height more. Everyone where I live these days seems to be short, so at 6'2", I stand out. Up at home, I'm pretty much average (apart from the mane).
No!

I believe my hair is one of my top features, and would think of it as the most dominant if not for my wife constantly telling me my blue eyes are what she notices more. I think it's a matter of perspective.
I usually get more comments on my giant size Dale Earnhardt tattoo than my hair. That one and the Red Hot Chili Peppers logo next to it.
