Hello gents,
I created a video of how my long curly locks dry after a shower. I had a quiet morning so I decided to record how my hair went from soaked to dry. It took about 3 hours to dry and the volume it gains from soak to dry is crazy. It also loses about 1/3 of its length as it coils back.
I didn't remove my ugly face this time as with the other video. Lots of readers on my blog were wondering what my face looked like so there LOL Let me know what you think of the video and the thickening effect:
How long does it take for your hair to dry, fellow long hairs? Do you also experience a lot of shortening and extra volume?
Kind Regards.

My hair always does the same thing. I really like the way it looks when it is wet. As it dries, it gets frizzy and bushy. Yours still looks good dry. Mine looks a lot better dry now than it did a year ago, so I am just hoping that the longer it gets, the more the weight will straighten itself out.
I think that the real test of healthy hair is how it looks when air dried and without any products on, I always go by that. This means that getting optimal sebum coverage is essential (I do it manually). If your hair looks better now than before when it is dry and without any hair products, then you surely are on the right track to great long hair!

Cool video. You have gorgeous hanging ringlets. My beard does what your hair does, it thickens and loses about 1/3 of its length as it dries.

Thanks for the reply Scott and you have a great beard as I see from your avatar!
I have been considering, at times, to grow my beard too, can I ask you if facial hair resembles the hair shape and type that grows on the scalp?
Hi Rogelio,
Pretty cool how your hair tightens up like that as it dries :) . Mine clumps together more than anything... maybe takes a couple of hour to dry. And nah, I don't think your face is all that ugly, really ^_~ ???
Thank for the video ^^ !
Sincerely,
yoshiki
Thanks for your reply Yoshiki.
I was curious to document how my hair dries and show everyone how much of a difference there is between my wet and dry curls. This is a common complain of curlies (both men and women) so I wanted to show that they are not alone! :)
