Hi dude, here are my thoughts:
Nicely done! Especially content-wise, it immediately looks like there's a lot there to read. And as other amateur website makers will know, creating a certain look is actually the easier part, while actually filling it up with relevant content is so hard!
The structure is very good too. I like the break-down into steps, and I especially like the "Recent Photos" frame, which immediately adds some visuals and keeps the page from being too text-heavy.
About the colours: I'm personally not feeling the brown & baby blue combo. Maybe try navy instead of brown? Also, I'd go with a less frivolous font for the big title. But that's really all quite personal and subjective.
Now, one thing I'd really advise you to change is Fabio. He is just SO outdated that it immediately makes your site look like it was created in 1996. Of course you can have the occasional "retro" picture, but not as the first big picture your visitors are going to see.
Finally, some grammar/typos:

wow, i wasn't expecting such an honest, thorough review. thanks! i am honestly dedicated to making this a good website for us long haired dudes. i am still playing around with the colors(i will take your comment into consideration). as for fabio, that's so true, i never thought of that. that is something i will definitely change.

An ego trip?
Hi UK,
Only one of everything on the internet, how boring would that be...
I would understand you calling it an ego trip if his site was all about himself (monthly growth pics etc); but it's not at all. His site has other features than this site, and it's different enough from this environment to exist in its own right. It's not like he copied MLHH to try and lure us away from here. Visiting that site doesn't mean you can't stay here, but of course you're quite entitled to stay away from there.
And just to clarify, I said I would understand, not agree about the ego trip thing. I like personal sites with growth progress etc. just fine, so everyone keep up the good work with those! :-)
and that's totally fine. let me just make one thing clear; i am in no way trying to "replace" mlhh. i am just simply trying to help out the long haired community and give people more information and help.
