Trying to decide what the ideal hair length is for myself. I had waist length once, but found it to be to long for me. What pros and cons do you see regarding mid-back or lower-back. My hair is currently one length and about 8 inches from waist length.

personally, i'm a bigger fan of mid-back length. then again, go with what you're most comfortable with.
just Start growing and grow it until you are happy with it....I started out only wanting mid back...that turned into lower back....now im going for waist.....i bet then it turns in to Butt....see the trend? lol....just grow until your happy....
I can't see myself wanting to grow it any further than mid-back, because I don't think a longer look would suit me, being the mainstream, preppy, regular guy that I am. And aside from the style aspect, it would probably become too high-maintenance for my taste.
But if you can pull off really long hair and you don't mind the extra maintenance, go ahead of course :)
Only you can decide what is best for you. Personally I prefer
waist length but it more difficult to take care of.
But ultimately it is your hair. You should try both lengths,
and determine which you prefer.
you should grow your hair to waist length, and then follow
the two week rule before cutting any hair off.
As far as pros or cons, only you can determine what your
pros and cons are.
For me there are lots of pros of waist length hair, the only
con is it's more difficult to care for. But that con is outweighed by how great waist length hair is.
For me the cons of mid back length it is too short. But that
is only my opinion, YMMV, and you have every right to your
own perosnal preference.
