I just used my 1st coconut oil treatment. The results were amazing = soft, shiny & tangle-free hair ... I now know what the fuss is about ... CEM.
Great rwsults CEM...how did you apply it to get such awesome results?
Scott from nottingham
Hi Scott - I went a bit over-board, I must admit - but I just took a gob of the hard set oil = it melts immediately in your hand & applied it mainly on ends, then massaged it into my scalp: ( it has anti-microbial / anti-dandruff therapeutic qualities ) then sort of roughly all over = now this is the extreme part = I put it on Sunday Midday & washed it out Wednesday morning almost 3 days later ... I was able to do this because I was on night-shift & I slicked my hair neatly & put it in a bun = it simply looked wet, but very neat. I then washed it in my normal way: ( I just wash my scalp & let the shampoo run out the lengths, then I condition leaving the conditioner on for about 5-10 mins. ... I always let my hair air-dry = soft, shine & no knotts ... + the smell is beautiful ... I highly recommend it cheers CEM. :O)
cheers dude!....i have some and will use it as my hair gets longer....it tends to be dry.
Also....coconut oil instead of olive oil is excellent for cooking...i use it regularly in food and also has skin and hair benefits if ingested apparently
cheers for sharing your technique CEM

Wow CEM: Your hair looks great, love the length and it does look silky soft nice to run fingers in. Beautiful long hair.

Thank you Tom for your kind words ... Cheers CEM. :O)
Hi CEM,
Your hair looks fabulous and I'm happy to read the coconut oil is working for you:)I hoped my response to your questions was of help being I've used the oil myself. Now I use it on an "as needed" basis because my fine hair just gets too oily and clumps together if excessive oils are applied.Still I liked the results and your example confirms that my friend.Cheers.

Hi Mark - thank you, yes your advice was invaluable: ( as is all the content & wisdom on this site ), I'm so enjoying visiting it daily ... just an adjunct re: the coconut oil: ( as it was on for nearly 3 days ) ... by the 3 day it was almost fully absorbed ... don't get me wrong I would not have left the house with it loose full of oil: ( slicked & in a bun only ) ... but as a monthly treatment the benefits are so worth it ... I have fine hair too ... but I'm sure it thickens also ... Cheers & thanx again CEM. :O)
CEM: your hair looks fantastic! I love the color, texture and length; absolutely gorgeous. I agree, perfect for running fingers through. Keep up the great work
I have tried coconut oil once or twice, I too think I may have over done it. Will have to try again since I have almost a full jar on hand and do not use it too cook!
Kenny
Thank you very much Kenny - when you have time to indulge, days off & the inclination = try it & see = I'm certain the results will be universal - please post a pic. if you do, ya hear ! Cheers CEM. :O)
