hey guys, i just recently wrote an article about the different face shapes on long haired guys.
i gotta ask, what's your face shape and what which one do you think is best for long hair?
Face Shapes and Long Hair
The diagram in the article is not very good, at least in my opinion, at discerning the differences between face shapes. I have a heart-shaped face with a small chin, and massive lips in proportion to the rest of my face, and this contributes greatly to an androgynous look that I hate at times and adore at others, depending on what I'm wearing to accompany it. Dude looks like a lady.
If I was able to choose my facial shape I'd want a long face with fewer curves. Something like:
My hair has a texture much like his (Top Dollar from The Crow), and I think he pulls it off marvelously.
for the most part, heart shaped faces are great for long hair.
as for the diagram, how could i make it better?
I think some of the graphics are misleading. Maybe it's just me, but some of the faces (for example, "oval" and "oblong") seem too similar. Then again, I look at the chin more than the forehead, mostly because long hair would be covering at least the sides of the forehead at all times unless it's being tied back.
To get back on topic, though, I don't like how weak my chin looks from the front.
i don't really care what my face shape is.............i want long hair and i'm going to have long hair for many more yeass no matter what my face shape is.
