There was a message posted here a while ago which recommended buying a shower head attachment that filters the water to remove the chlorine. I know there was a lot of scepticism about how much good this would actually do for the hair, so I decided to test the one made by Sprite, which is what the post recommended. Here are my results:
I've showered in the filtered water only once so far, and I can already tell a huge difference in my hair. It's much softer, looks thicker and shinier, and the ends are less frizzy. My hair has not looked so healthy since I was a young child. This is also the first time my skin hasn't itched after I finished my shower. The filter costs only $20, and considering all the good it does, is definitely worth the money.
