I am at 18 months of growing my hair out and have noticed that especially when I have my hair in a pony tail, it looks "frizzy" above the side burn area. What should I do about this? You can kind of see it on the picture. Also, how high should I be cutting my side burns? Any thoughts?
And finally, do you guys have recommendations as far as favorite shampoos or conditioners?

Well, I don't have any facial hair connecting a sparse joke of a beard to my mane, but check your wife/girlfriend/sister/mother for where their sideburns stop -- shave up to the point where theirs stop.
Let it grow -- it's part of your head hair anyways -- less maintenance =)
I use Kirkland signature conditioner right now -- if it's an easier shampoo I shampoo more often, if it's a harsher shampoo, I usually will try to use less or try to eschew it completely.
Well, to each their own, I don't know how well the results of my hair would transfer onto yours.
Hi Mark K.,
Basically those side burn hairs do look like that as I have the same problem. They aren't as long as the rest of my hair so they tend to fly around and is more noticeable when I tail my hair.So I just tend to cut those hairs short to blend in better with my facial hair. However it boils down to personal preference on your part.Hope this helps.Cheers

But is this hair the short kind that also grows on your neck or is this short frizzy stuff just hair that I inadvertently have been cutting when I am doing my sideburns without realizing it?
