Hello all! This is my first attempt at french braiding. I was actually watching a movie while I did this. I guess for some beginners keeping the mind occupied while attempting the french braid is a good way to start. I know,it's all about practice! practice! practice! More like practice, patience, perseverance, and you shall succeed! Have a nice day everyone!
cheers,

Hi rowie,
That's quite a nice looking french braid for a first attempt.I give you credit for taking on this hair styling thing so aggressively:)That's what I need to do, learn how to do these just for some variety in life:)Would be great to have someone, in real life, show me how its done as I would think its easier that way.Regardless you did a fantastic job so please do show more of your hair work:)Cheers

Hi Mârk,
Thanks for your comments! I know i'm aggressive, but only because I'd rather learn as much as I can so that I don't have to think about it later. hehehe I would be so happy to show you in person all of the different techniques i've learned so far, but I'm all the way up in Northern New England. But keep on watching youtube, cause for me, it definitely ingrained in my consciousness to a point that I can do it while watching a movie. Good luck!
cheers,
rowie
Thanks rowie for the personal instruction offer but I guess that's a bit far to travel to Bun Class 101:)LOL.The youtube vids do look good as long as you can see the hand movements clearly and how the hair is wrapped.I'm sure a simple guy like myself can figure it out:)Cheers

Great start looks awesome !
Hi Dawn,
Thanks for your compliment. Nice to see you on the boards!
You did well. It's super hard to French braid your own hair where it comes out looking good. I've pulled it off a a few times, but pretty much gave up. My preferred method is to persuade someone else to do it for me.
