Alright, so I posted last week regarding my fear due to my thin hair roots, and yesterday I finally found a good picture to show the forum so people would know what i'm talking about. This picture is of my hair WET. It does get more body as it dries (much more body) but the roots in the front seem so fragile, I can't help but worry. Anyway here is the picture.
Isaac, you have thick beautiful hair. You look healthy, and unless you are shedding hair massively, then I wouldn't worry. You know what I'd do, I'd look at all the males in your immediate family and see if they have a similar growth pattern. How does your dad, grandfather, uncles, etc., hair look like now? Do they all have thick hair everywhere in their head with no visible thinning? Genes is a very big important factor to consider. I hope this helps, and I hope to hear what you think.
cheers,
rowie
And pay particular attention to your Mother's side of the family. In a lot of cases that particular genetic code is predominate!

My dad's hairline receded and his is bald-ish around his crown. My grandfather from my dad's side still has a full head of hair. My mom has thinning, but not receding hair, and my grandfather from her side passed away with a full head of hair. Nobody else in my family is really bald, just some thinning on a few uncles.
I don't think you have to worry. Your hair looks fine.

Wet hair looks thinner than dry because the hair strands clump together leaving larger gaps in between the clumps. Mine does just what yours does, but you know what? Soon as it dries it goes back to looking just the way it did before.
I'd say quit worrying man. Enjoy your hair!

Mine does the same thing in certain spots and my progress is pretty close to yours. As was said, when your hair is wet you can see scalp. Unless you're a beaver and have ultra-dense fur you're gonna see some scalp when wet no matter WHO you are! LOL :D
Fear not friend, your hair looks awesome and will keep getting more awesome as it grows out!
Awesome hair man.. I love the beard too. I had a beard for the past 3 years but for some reason I decided to shave it off last week.. I think it will make a comeback soon though after looking at yours :)
