Have colored my hair in the past but have gone 'au natural' for the last 2 years as i felt coloring my hair didnt match the natural aging of my skin...even though i take pretty good care of my skin. b
Believe me, i dont condemn anyone for coloring either as now at the age of 51, i understand that mental edge that looking younger helps one to feel younger as well...so i think my decision works for me...my biggest concern isnt my hair but my goatee...its so white that i feel i should shave it off but i like the look of facial hair...i always think its a good thing i dont have to look at myself all day..
Gordy,
Your hair looks fantastic as it is naturally coloring. Especially your white goatee!!

At the ripe old of age of 57 I wear every grey hair with pride.
After all these years i've earned every single one of those grey
hairs. not only will my hair stay long it will stay grey too.
I flatly refuse to uct it and I flatly refuse to color it. if that means it goes all grey then it means it goes all grey.
Right now my goal is terminal length, grey hair and all.
I think those of us with multicolored hair are truly fortunate. Shows more character and distinction....
And yours is certainly a beautiful example....

Yes, Walter is right, and enjoy the multicolor phase while you can! It's a cool look, and in my case it lasted prominently for a decade.
But white is awesome in its own way, so look forward to that, too! If your goal in life is to look tough, it's not going to convey that, but otherwise, gray hair brings more respect, and people are more relaxed and open around you because you don't get seen as a threat. People may at first shun you if you are gray, but they open up a lot easier to you than they did before the gray came along, if you just smile and let them in. And the more gray hair that spills off your head, the more this works!
You just have to show that you own it.

Your hair is so thick it would look good any color, do what makes you feel good.
Just do what makes you feel good Gordy. I personally think your white and darker streaks on your head looks great. Your skin is like that of a young baby. Count Dracula was a famous character from fiction who carried the salt n' pepperlook well. I am in the stages of growing in grey hair, including beard and am marvelling at the very slow transition. Going on 15 years now. If you choose to experiment with colouring try the non-permanent dyes first to see if it suits or not.
cheers,
Duncan
Hey there Gordy,
I think the white goat looks good with silver locks. I see a lot of guys with mostly white beards and darker hair.
