First off, this is not the 1980s when cutting your hair and becoming a yuppie conformist might seem worth your time for a lucrative paycheck so it's probably not worth your while to do it
with the current economy since there are lots of short haired guys out of work anyway.
think about the time it took you to grow it this long.
are you really willing to shed several inches just for that imaginary lucrative job of your dreams?
we live in a system where the top 1% is favored over the majority.
don't you think it would be more beneficial to demand change from the Government from the current top-down system which was imposed upon all of us from previous administrations which is obviously not working for the benefit of the majority to a bottom up system rather than even consider getting a short haircut for a job that may or may not be there and in all probability you'll still be unemployed anyway?
Don't worry, I'm not cutting my hair for any job.At my age I would take it as an ultimate insult if it were even suggested. It would be like them saying I'm too fat for the job or something like that. The only time I can see appearance being an issue is if you are applying to be a model.I don't think I'd make the grade for that!LOL.Cheers

Once, at a job interview, i aced the thing completely, the test I was ghiven shocked the interviewer as I had a score higher than he had ever seen. I was offered the job and all seemed well, when hat the lat moment he asked me "Would there be any issue with cutting my hair?" I answered, matter of factly, "Of course there is no issue, I will not cut it" He was shovked, for a moment, then said As iwas obvioulsy getting prepared to leave. Pleas with, I';ll be right back. he hurreid off to his managers and after a few moments came back and said, very well, We have no issue with it, either. Sometimes you just have to mule up.
Why would you let a company tell you how to live your life? No job is going to last forever. They will get rid of you in a heart beat when times get tough. I don't care how good you are it is about the bottom line. This is not North Korea, so I wouldn't cut my hair for a job. I would tap my 401k first.
