If you are inclined to think that you look like a complete dork with short hair.
long haired guys are generally not associated with anything dork-related or similar,but are usually perceived as being cool if anything.
remember, first impressions are always important so why not give a positive impression that you are one hip dude rather than some dweeb.
so, if you're a Sheldon Cooper type, grow some hair and things will change for you!

That's true. Long hair is totally cool - despite the fact that it's almost a prerequisite for being a computer geek. Kind of ironic really!
