there were cases of many young long haired Men being shorn by Police back in the 1960s.
regardless what you think of the current POTUS, he is a better alternative to Mitt Romney!

Do it to the wrong person (a hardcore biker for example) and that cop had better quit his job and move out of state and hide to stay alive.
Forced hair cutting is BATTERY, pure and simple, and a blatent violation of FIRST AMENDMENT rights. This is totally anti-American and people will not put up with it. This could lead to major civil rights violation lawsuits and/or major civil unrest directed towards police. (Think OCCUPY raised by 2 or 3 orders of magnitude.)
If things get really bad, a second civil war could happen. If those in control go too far, violating our rights, they could be ousted by force, and they know it. Maybe it is time to set up a whole new government that is fair to all and not just to the fortunate 1%.

I agree with you 100%, but take the case of this homeless man who was beaten to death in California.
it should not be happening ,but it is and if there were numerous incidents like this which were reported by the media then something would stir the people to action that would make occupy look like a boy-scout picnic by comparison.
it's a good thing it was caught on camera, but it makes you wonder how many of these incidents occur which are never documented.

Even today, probably a fair percentage go undocumented. Rewind the decade clock 3 or 4 turns counterclockwise, it is likely that the vast majority of attacks by renegade cops went undocumented. With the internet and cell phone cameras everywhere, it is much more difficult for renegade cops to get away with this. If you get an attack on video, cops will try to confiscate your video. You do have the right to refuse, but you better have a small army of people willing to fight on your behalf to keep them from doing so.
I do fear if things don't change soon, matters like this will be settled on the battlefield rather than in the courtroom. A second civil could happen. (Cops that kill or seriously injure someone almost always get their charges dismissed, or greatly reduced, even if obviously guilty.) RIP Oscar Grant, your blood cries out from the grave for justice.

Yes, his barbaric form of "justice" is torture. I wonder how many inmates have died out there from heat stroke. If heat stroke deaths have occurred, they would most likely be covered up. That man has no conscience.

Not sure I agree with the statement, just made , but Mitt Romney's campagine needs to be derailed, and this can happen with pressure put on him by the liberal media, gay rights activist, citizens just as yourself, under a Mitt Romney administraton our cival liberties will be under fire. I doubt that'll happen. But either way I'm still not voting for Romney anyway.
As long as the economy doesn't get any worse, as long as the guy who is 'Unsafe At Any Speed' doesn't get into the race and take away Obama votes (If the guy who wants to 'check under the hood' or 'clean out the barn' gets in that's okay) Obama should be okay.
The Republican parties main candidates for winning nomination to being Presidential candidatures hold no attraction for me. I think that the party has greatly changed to the far-right and almost all of the mainstream Republican contenders seem to display the classic sociopathic traits. They seem to have very extreme and undemocratic views and only represent the richest 1% of the population.
