Any of you have or had a favorite hair brush that works great for "Your" hair? I favorite brush just recently bit the dust, I thought I had found a replacement but the first time I used it after shampoo & conditioner IT BECAME A NIGHTMARE! It would not de-tangle my wet hair. I have since found one that works on my hair.......I THINK?
Hi James,
You have a nice looking mane! I hope that you are properly using a wide tooth wooden comb to detangle your hair before you brush your hair. I usually like to finger comb my hair to gently sift out any tangles, and any sheddings before I use my body shop wide tooth wooded comb. I don't like to brush my hair because I feel like if you don't have a good skilled deft hand, then it could be damaging to my hair. I did find the tangle teezer to be gentle to my hair, and it is popular in other long hair boards outside MLHH. I've attached a link to amazon, check out all the reviews, and I hope this will help you make an informative decision.
best of luck,

I was about to recommend the Tangle Teezer as well. It looks and sounds like one of those "as seen on TV" gimmick products but it really does work well. I was looking for a boars bristle brush which a lot of guys here recommend and came across the Tangle Teezer on Amazon for about ten bucks and said, "hey, I'll give that a try".
I have very fine shoulder length hair similar looking to James' in the back, but slightly shorter. I use it to de-tangle gently when wet and also for most of my brushing when it's dry. I'm always shocked at how few hairs end up in the bristles.
BTW I have a long haired dog, a silky terrier, and I bought another one that I use on him and it works just as well.
Wow you have great looking hair, nice and long plus your facial hair looks good on you as well.
