I think its wrong how a lot people discriminate guys with long hair. Because I believe if guys were not meant to have long hair than it wouldn't grow long and would stay short and its natural. I also feel its stupid that people say gay and girlie for guys with long hair and hair doesn't make a man and its their manhood that does. I also feel women could be jealous since guys might have better hair than woman and they feel insecure. Guys I believe they could be insecure also. Because they don't have courage to do it and feel they are less of a man and people would think they are gay. I also found a video on youtube where someone made a long hair tip video and someone commented with long hair and said a woman tried to light his hair on fire. Another person said they threw a glass bottle at his hair also which is really pathetic. Here is video so you can see it.

I would point out what i've noticed many times now, if you go into a supermarket today, you'll find that many women have
hair that is shorter than mine. I've noticed lately that
90%+ of woman I come accross have hair that is much shorter than
mine.
Hello Mr. Albany. You know I do notice many women have short hair these days like shoulder and armpit lengths.hmmm I wonder why... what's your take on this?
cheers,
rowie
I have no clue why, it's their hair and they can wear it the way they want. I would point out a number of those women have hair
far shorter than shouler length or armpit length (i.e. above the ear/above the collar, or even shorter.)
BTW, i'm in the state of New York which is extremely long hair
friendly.
(see my next post)
I think people regardless of gender should be able to wear their hair any way they want long or short. there should not be separate rules for Men dictating that they cannot have anything but short hair when women can have long or short. I don't think that's fair.
Me too!
However, what you see and what people say and do varies greatly with location. There are places where tolerance is the rule, where long hair on women (and sometimes) men is culturally common, where having hair outside the norm isn't a hazard to your mental or physical health.
I'm so glad that my family travelled when I was young, so I knew there were choices other than the closed minded bigotry and hatred of the Deep South. I made my choices so that I could shake the dust (well, sticky red clay) off my feet and not have to return.
It can get better. I just wish there were more places where your boss and coworkers don't give a damn what your hair is like, as long as you do your job, and others' jealousy was expressed as envy of the excellence of your hair.
Well said. It is certainly true that our hair is designed to be long. Most women wear their hair the way used to, about shoulder-length+/-. As far as the Deep South goes. The origin of this mongrel is a commonly misunderstood Bible verse in the New Testament. My book,Our LONG HAIRitage mightlity addresses that issue and much more. Longer hair prevents baldness and skin cancer. Constant hair-hacking as these ignorant bafoons do is disastrous for scalp health and beauty. The ancients never thought long hair to be just for girls.

Incase you misunderstand me the guy in the video of the link I sent said he recieved comments about the girl lighting long hair on fire and the glass bottle. Its not in the comments on the bottom of video page in text but the guy in video said them guys messaged him in response to part 1 of this video. If you don't want to watch whole video the part about them comments starts 9:19 of video.
