Fantastic hair Sorted as the volume up to the ends looks superb:)Have you tried growing your hair longer finding the ends starting to look sparse?I feel mine is like that as my hair reaches the lower back but lacks the volume that you have.I just don't have the heart to trim it shorter to get to that volume up higher.Guess its a matter of quantity over quality.Cheers

Not really, but my mindset (and I accept this isn't shared by everyone) is that very fine sparse ends don't really count as length any more than a comb-over counts as a full head of hair.
So I trim and keep the ends of my hair in good shape.

A++++++ Your hair looks absolutely perfect, David. Trimming works well for you. At that length you probably have few problems with tangles.
My hair is about 3 times as long and tangles severely. I even have to avoid shifting the position of my hair when wet while washing to prevent knots.
Again, you probably have the best looking hair I have ever seen.

Thanks Scott, but I still get tangles. It took me over 5 minutes to comb it out after I got out of the shower this evening, and that was even after using 4 handfuls of leave-in conditioner/detangler. Still you have to be gentle that's part of the secret.

This is magnificent and proves that you maintenance regime on 'spare ends' etc is absolutely correct.
Congratulations on the consistent and excellent look of your hair.
A lesson for many to follow after all these years.

Thanks! Well, it seems to work for me, I'm happy with the results.
I think I posted a similar pic in the new year so I'll so a side by side comparison because I think it will show that my hair has in fact gotten longer in spite of the trims. Yet has maintained the same condition.

Also, even though I may not have commented at the time, I did see your earlier front photos(fantastic, as always), and admit that I am jealous, especially knowing that my own hair has not been growing much at all lately, and the ends are not that good. I know I need to trim mine to make the ends look better.
