many barbers were either going out of business or concerned about it by the end of the 1960s. salons became friendlier towards guys who didn't want those barbershop haircuts, but then...
...this sudden nostalgia of guys longing for the days of the barbershop came along and for the past two decades it has really got me stumped and I just have been asking "Why?", but then I came across this board and realized that there is HOPE among the younger generation after all!
I think what you do is a great thing encouraging these guys to grow their hair long in the face of opposition from various people with fascistic tendencies(some probably do not realize that they borderline on being fascists)and the problem with fascist employers who have forced Men to return to that "golden era" before four guys with mop tops changed everything for the better!
yeah, it may seem like it's been all downhill, but I do think you guys are the hope of the future and stay with it, spread the word that long hair is definitely cool again and before you know it every guy with a buzzcut or shaved head will be sporting real hair again or long hair for the first time!!!
