Hey there guys! Last night I went to support my friend's band. They had an 80's themed party which was great! so many long haired guys all over, I felt right at home, although my hair was so short compared to some others.
Here's a pic of me and my bassist friend who's had his long hair for over 2 years.
Looking good. The guys dressed up as Kiss appears to be a Gene Simmons. I well remmember the Kiss band lineup along with their hits and they wore the makeup from the late 1970's into the 1980's.So though started in the 70's they were quite a fixture in the 80's as well with their genre of music. Many people wondered what the group looked like minus their makeup. They went to great lengths to hide their faces but one members likeness did leak out to the media. The Kiss Unmasked tour was when they took off their masks to reveal the makeup underneath at the climax of the show. I well remember me and my brother in 1978 being fans.
