Well it seems like seven to eight weeks goes by and I feel there is enough new growth where its noticeable on top of my head.So I set aside the half day required to apply it,let it do its magic, then rinse it out.Being we are in the warmer weather months I'll just go about my business afterwards with my hair still wet!LOL.Yes, the ultimate air dry:)So here are some pics starting with just after I rinsed it all out.enjoy.

And this is a few hours later after returning from some errands and my hair now dry.
And this one was taken today outdoors in natural sunlight.
Hi Mark,
I am delighted that this henna works so well for you, and it really does bring out the best in your hair. It looks excellent.
Take care, and good luck to you!
David
Thank you David as after almost a year of doing henna I have not regretted my decision to take the plunge.I knew last summer once I made the commitment there was no turning back short of letting the color grow out eventually.Thankfully I'm so pleased with my hair in this color I almost feel like a different person:)Cheers my friend.

Looks great Mark - Definitely an eye-popping color!
- Oren
Hi Oren,
Have to admit I like the way my hair jumps out at ya!LOL.Years ago I would likely have been reluctant to do such a drastic thing to my hair but now that I'm older and wiser I could care less my friend;)Cheers

Hi Mark
Wow...... your long hair looks fabulous!!!!!
I would feel like celebrating after one of those treatments if I were you. Perhaps this calls for another trip to the West Coast? Well, good excuse don't you think. Nice weather here now. :-)
Take care Mark and all the best-
Justin~
Hi Justin
Thank you for the compliments as it's much appreciated my friend:) Believe me the next time I head out west a henna refresh will be in order for the occasion! In fact ever since I did the first treatment all my trips out west afterwards were celebrated with a henna treatment the weekend beforehand:)Looking forward to visiting out west again this fall.Cheers

Your hair looks superb, Mark. Henna has worked really well for you.
I just don't have the patience to take half a day to do this. I checked into it, and it would take a couple pounds of that goop to do my mane. I will just have to live with my natural hair color.
Scott
Hey Scott,
I have to say to do henna you really have to want it.I'll admit its time consuming and having to do it again every seven to eight weeks just to keep it superb can be an issue with some people. When I was younger I liked my natural color. It was still OK even before the henna but just not as great as it once was.Coloring my hair was a thrill for me as the results were better than I had expected:)In your case I understand where you are coming from with such a long mane but I believe it can be done:)Cheers
Mârk
Hey Mark,
Your hair looks awesome! The henna treatment works well for you. Let us know how it progresses.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Thanks Raymond,I appreciate your kind words my friend:)This August will mark the anniversary of my very first treatment which set my hair on a different journey so to speak.Since I'm not gaining length,it appears, I did something nice to a part of me that I cherish:)I wish you the best in your continued progress also.As the saying goes...Keep it Growing!Cheers

Looking real good Mark. It's such a pleasure to see your henna updates. It's amazing how you hair looks super shiny every time you do henna. I don't get the color benefit out of it, but I love how it makes my hair feel stronger and shiny. As usual, I'm surprised your long haired posse didn't join you this time. Anyhow, Thanks for these updates!
cheers,
rowie
Hi rowie. Yea, where did my posse go when the photo op was happening!LOL.Probably off somewhere brushing out his mane in the sunshine:)He he.
My hair certainly took advantage of the color benefits that's for sure!It was an amazing transformation after the very first treatment as now its really only maintenance.Have to say its been a great ride so far my friend:)Cheers

I continue to be impressed with how well the henna is working for you, Mark. There is such a vibrance to it. I'm still a little chicken to try it but maybe someday!
I'm with you Jason. While it looks great on Mark with his complexion I'm not so sure I want to chance ending up a flaming redhead. ;-)
Hey Jason,
Oh how I just love this stuff as it has been an absolute gift to me:)Ever since I first changed my hair color I not once regretted it.Maybe I was lucky but before I did the first treatment I tested the henna on some shed hair I had just to be sure:)It was enough to confirm to me I wanted to go through with doing all my hair that way.So if your leaning towards doing it, try a test sample first.I think that's common practice anyway with any sort of hair dyes.I mean going into it blind could provide a shocker!LOL.Cheers my friend.

I don't know what I like moar about you: the long red hair or the tight-shirt habit you make look gooooood! Woof!!
Oh dannydale, I just don't know what to say!I'm glad you like my hair+shirt but now I'm thinking the hounds are after me!LOL.Cheers dude....

It's nice that you look happy! btw, interesting looking shower curtain. That's why I love these updates, I seem to find something interesting in them.
cheers,
rowie
Hi rowie
Ha ha, so you noticed the shower curtain but how could you miss my "kitty cat" wall boarder!LOL.Those are some cooooool cats!
Mârk
Hey Mârk thanks for sharing! Don't forget the part that it takes forever to rinse henna. LOL Well, at least for me it does. I usually have to soak in the tub for two or three times at 20 to 30 min soaks each time I fill the tub. I can't just shower because I'll find a twig here and there. =P Looking good Mârk.
cheers,
rowie
Hey rowie,
Actually putting the henna "in" and later washing it "out" are the easiest parts of the whole ordeal. The hardest part is wearing the stuff for hours on end and catching the drips as my warm head makes it kinda run.lol.I have it down to a science now so much of that is minimized but you must be careful that is doesn't drip onto carpet, etc.
Mârk
Great mane, guy.
BTW...are you related to "Mitchell" on Modern Family??
Ha ha,thanks Ben:)Actually I've never seen that show so I'm not qualified to answer;)lol.Cheers
Mârk
You get younger and younger looking with each application ! Ha 1
Looking good my friend....as always, Thanks for Sharing
Walter
