I figure it's time for another nacissistic ego-boost. Hey, it's ALWAYS time for that right? :)
Here's me at Portsmouth Dockyard (in front of HMS Victory) on Jubilee Weekend on a typical English summer day - windy, cloudy and just about to throw it down. They had several bands playing, including Dodgy (I'm always a sucker for 90s nostalgia) and it was all FREE! So I braved the weather.
If I've got the HTML right, you'll also be treated to a view of me from the back. Sadly, I was mortified to discover that my magnificent mane was totally hidden in this view (thanks to the huge collar of my retro satin shirt). One of life's wicked tragedies but hey, God clearly intended me to be viewed from the front.
Oh, sorry about the cig. I'm trying to give it up. :(

Cool hair and a cool look you've got going there!
Very nice look, both from the front and back. Now, an off-topic question: I have that same shirt, but I can't wear it anymore because it smells like sweat, and no matter how many times I wash it the smell never goes away. Do you have any advice for making satin shirts smell clean again?
Thanks for complimenting my look, Sören. I've got two satin shirts, the black one and a silver-grey one (in the pic - when my hair was shorter!). I sometimes wear the black one casually to work or wherever during the day but the silver-grey one is so glossy I normally only wear it for a night out. I don't wanna blind people in the sunlight!
I take both shirts to the cleaners to get them laundered (NOT dry-cleaned) as it's far more thorough and cheap (only £1.50 each). They come up like brand new, smelling fresh and clean every time, no lingering odour at all.
Both shirts came from France and are made from a much higher quality satin (thicker and glossier) than the satin shirts you can buy in England or the USA. Not sure if the cheaper satin would stand up to laundering so well.
