      No, it's not; my hair is naturally very dark, almost black. I first had it bleached about a year and 3 months ago, and time and sun exposure have softened the colour a lot since then.

        It is fabulous especially now knowing you have bleached it. It looks really natural. The sheen and lustre is amazing too. Keep on growing.

    Yup, definitely a Michael Monroe lookalike contender! You just need eyeliner, heavy earrings and two tons of hairspray. :)

    I LOVE the 80s retro look, especially glam rock.

      I sing, and I used to want to start a glam rock band, but I've given up on that idea because where I live there's very little interest in the music, and the look is not generally well-received.

        How about considering starting up an old school style Goth band

        Goth was originally influenced by Glam Rock.

        I remember back in the 1980s when metal and glam bands were all the rage!A couple bands that come to mind would be Poison and Cinderella which both had the hair spray thing going on.LOL.There were others but these two were very popular back then.BTW, your blond locks look fabulous as I never would have guessed your original color was much darker.Well done my friend:)Cheers

          Thank you. The reason the blond hair looks so natural is because I bleach my eyebrows and underarms as well. If I didn't do that, you'd be able to tell the light colour was fake in a snap.

        too many short haired guys in bands now and to me it just ain't the same as seeing long haired musicians!

    Deliberate or not it looks awesome. Part of the fun of having long hair is the many different looks you can achieve.
    Clothing and makeup just enhance the results.
