I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to post. Seems like a fairly friendly cyber community.
Anyway, backstory: I've been growing my hair for awhile in high school and it's been pretty lame. Not sure why people like to randomly shout 'fag', or 'get a haircut'. One teacher told me to cut my hair, and countless students. Whenever i'm asked when i'm going to cut my hair- guaranteed at least once per week, I usually tell them that i'll only cut it once I can tie it around my feet and use it as shoes. Their reactions amuse me.
love it ヅ ... my most common response to 'Y do you grow it ?' is 'cause I can' stay true to your souls calling ... Cheers CEM.

Welcome WiseFrog. Your hair looks great. Try to not take too seriously all the negative comments. Most likely they are just jealous.

I understand you greatly, sometimes you get tired of such attacks. But your hair looks really, really good and you shouldn't listen to all those people!
I think most people who make rude or stupid comments about the length of a guy's hair usually do so because they're actually very envious. They probably want to compliment you, but they're afraid of what others will think if they do. It's ridiculous, but unfortunately, that's just the way people are. Humans are a peculiar species.
It is! :-)
Your long hair is gorgeous and looks great! As for these people, they should all be given a grade of A+ for their rudeness. You are very intelligent about how you handle these mouthy fools. Years ago I did this video about the best way to handle idiots such as these. You would be surprised how many guys are tormented about the fact that they are growing out their hair. Just unreal. And a teacher mouthing-off at you about this? Not acceptable! You are a much better person than they are and they should be ashamed of themselves. Best of luck to you with further long hair success.

Welcome aboard, my fine amphibian acquaintance [grin].
Why do people say nonsense like that? Because way too many people have too much time on their hands and not enough brain cells.
My standard answer to "When are you going to cut your hair?" is the truth... when I feel like it. Of course, that will probably be never, but it still fits.
You've got a good-looking head of hair, keep up the good work.

Howdy and welcome out of lurkdom Mr.WiseFrog:)I would say if you like you hair, and I feel that you do, then I wouldn't pay any attention to those asking when you plan to cut it.Maybe a response would be ..."Why worry about my hair so when are you cutting yours?"You'll find as you get older people generally are more respectful and wouldn't say such things to your face as there is a higher level of maturity as we age. Great hair btw;)Cheers

Looking great and welcome!
You'll always have true friends here. School can be treacherous for an aspiring long hair, but it will soon be a memory.
I'll get a haircut when there's 12 full months of good skiing in hell.

I live in a very stero typical place the highlands of scotland! Ive had stabbing threats over the fact i have long hair (dont recamend visiting). When people say why dont you cut your hair you look like a girl! I say why dont you grow yours!! I defeats them every time but its amusing
Hello and welcome, keep it growing and flowing and ignore the ignorant, you are the wise one :)
Cheers Dave
Welcome WiseFrog!
Bruce
Hey WiseFrog,
Just brush off what they say... you're hair looks good and good on you, that's all you need to know. 9 out of 10 times guys with long hair have a better chance at getting a girl (that's my theory anyways ^_~ ), so remember that :p . Soon you'll be out of high school and away from those who don't know any better, just have some patience - things will get better :) .....
Sincerely,
Eric
Damn... that hair looks fantastic! DO NOT let them push you to cut it. It's fantastic is what it is, and it suits you really well.
