Belated thanks for your replies to my "Braid, Beard & outer-space shirt" thread, as I much appreciated the comments!
I work weekends (including one or 2 days before/after, depending on my schedule) -- and I don't own a smartphone or laptop computer yet; in other words, am without my computer when I stay overnight at work.
Bill, I just e-mailed you privately, thanking you for your great comments & suggestions -- so, thanks again!!
Oren, do you do C&W dancing? I've been an avid fan ever since I first took lessons in the fall of '87 (although didn't get any good at it until '88 or '89 - LOL).... I especially love the partner dances: 2-Step, Waltz, Swing, etc. -- my favorite being our official state dance of California, West Coast Swing (which would probably look similar to your "Texas Push" I think it's called, or to an old-fashioned Jitterbug, only danced to more moderate-tempo Swing music).
Yoshiki, thanks for your comments also!
And to Jarvis:
Thanks for answering MattM's question!

Hi Dale,
Thanks so much for your suggestion about trying regular hair coloring on my beard -- I didn't know that, so am anxious to give it a try!!
My "ideal" beard color is probably somewhere between carrot-top red and auburn (although I might have to settle for Strawberry blonde, if I'm to look a bit more natural about it). In real-life, when I was younger, my beard had only a little "hint" of red to it before the grey started coming in. The hair on my head used to be honey-blonde, only a small amount darker than that in my beard; but now that I'm an old geezer, I want to go a little bit more over-the-top by leaving the contrast between my true hair color, yet dying my beard hair whatever looks the most shockingly good on me...
We'll see!!
Thanks again for the suggestion, as Just for Men has no red or auburn beard coloring.

You're quite welcome Ken! One thing I didn't think to mention is that you can custom mix colors too. I usually use "Revlon ColorSilk" on my beard as it's cheap and easy to mix. Just keep the ratio of one part color to one part developer and you're good to go. If you're uncertain and have some hair to spare you can always do a test application on some hair strands to get the color and timing down.
Good luck!

Did I see that birthday congrats are in order Ken? But you must have miscalculated somehow. 29 seems more likely!
Happy Birthday!
Bruce
Hi Bruce,
Actually, I've been working on a new project, and have decided to refer to it in the following manner: "REVERSE-birthdays!"
I'm really enjoying the concept, too. It's quite simple: every year whenever I get close to the evil date, I tell myself I'm turning a year YOUNGER!! It's really cool! I started implementing this idea a few years ago; but unfortunately can't recall exactly how long ago I've been doing this...
"29", yes yes, that's it -- I think you're right!
WHEW! I'm glad at least SOMEbody has been helping me keep track of this. Just because the rest of the world says that we're out-to-lunch, doesn't mean that we can't dance to our own "different" dinner-bell... Or, is it a "breakfast drum?"
Uh-oh... here come those evil men in white coats again! (LOL)
Yes yes, 29 -- not a day older than that, too!!
Hey Ken,
No thanks are in order :p . Like I said earlier, I'm late to the party - have been all week on replying, etc., so you're not the first to be away form the board for a while ;) .
Just between you and me, I hate cellphones - don't own one, so there you go ;D ~
Sincerely,
Eric
Ken - very occasionally. I seldom visit the nightclubs unless it's part of an event that is of interest.
