I was wondering at what length would it be time to part my hair down the middle.
There's no rule that says once you reach a certain length it should be parted a certain way or that you can't part it certain way until you reach a certain length. Just try moving the part around until you find what works best for you. For me, an off-center part works out best.

Can you actually move a part? My part naturally occurs on the left side (the right side looking in the mirror.) I've always
wanted to have it part in the center. Is this even possible
or am I stuck with the part where it naturally occurs?
The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that it depends a lot on your hair growth pattern. Some people's hair has a tendency to fall one direction naturally while others lack the directionality. Longer hair should be easier to force against the natural direction if you should desire just because of the sheer weight of the hair. Regardless of whether you have natural parting or not, anytime you change where you place the part it may require a few days for your hair to 'adjust' to the new location. In other words, give it a few days before you decide it isn't going to work.

I think now is a good time to try a middle part. It will take time for your hair to adjust.

Hi Keanu,
Between one to two years. When you pull the hair over to the opposite side from the middle, it might extend forward or even upwards on that half of the scalp as it adjusts to the new part. A gob of leave-in conditioner can help keep this down. The length will probably not be even on both sides. If you trim, do it very gradually. Take no more than one half inch off using small incremental trims. Then wait to see how it looks before trimming more.
