    I'm not sure how long your hair is now but at 1/2 inch per month
    of growth you're probably looking at several years. And that is without a trim.
    For the average person hair grows a 1/2 inch per month. YMMV.

    If started from a Buzz, I would say that this looks to be like 3 to 3-1/2 years of growth.

      I'm around Grohl's length now after only 31 months (including a trim) from little longer than a buzz. Yayyy!!! I've finally found something I'm fast at - growing hair! :)

    That's impossible to say because everyone's hair grows at a different rate, and the length you started from makes a big difference. The best I can do is give you a picture of my hair for comparison. This is 2 1/2 years' worth of growth starting from a "J-pop" shag cut.
