Hey guys! Wow it feels like a long time since I posted on this board. A big shout out to Mark (Hairball), Jason, Duncan, Ken in SF, Scott, Eric, Trolleypup, Gordy, and anyone else I may have forgotten.
I just wanted to pass by and let y'all know i'm still here and still growing my hair down to my long journey down to classic length. hahahaha
This is the first time I wore my hair down, just for you all! Trust me my hair is very poofy and thick (I could send it to anyone I know here via email, but trust me, my hair usually looks like Hagrid if not kept into a bun). As some of you know, I usually wear my hair in a bun and will only wear my hair down for length shots, or the rare occasional segmented pony tail in honor of Scott. Although, I forgot to wear it in a French braid style without the braid I did eons ago, I think this oneturned out ok. It also helps that I was in Nevada for almost all of July, which is why my hair looks straighter. I find it amazing how much more smooth my hair feels in areas with no humidity. Oh well, now I'm back in the humid East Coast! I have so much to say, but I just wanted to say hello to you all.
cheers,
rowie
Hey rowie,
I've missed your posts, good to see you back! That is a fabulous style! I love how you have it segmented starting on the top of your head. It must work really well to stop flyaway hairs and keep the large volume of hair you have under control. I'm envious of how thick it is!
It's going to be incredible to watch as you progress towards your goal of classic length.
Best,
Jason
Hey rowie, great having you back on board again as I did notice your absence. At least now I know why you haven't posted being you were away but still if it were me I'd be on that iphone checking the board!LOL.Guess I'm just too addicted to the hair;)
That's a fantastic pic of your hair and I love the way you tied it:)You may complain about the texture but I would argue it looks and likely feels great.I can only imagine you in classic length and can't wait for when that day arrives rowie. If this is just a small sample of that then the best is yet to come:)Cheers my friend.

That is one fat ponytail. You are blessed with really thick hair. Absolutely gorgeous. BTW, there is a huge longhair gathering on September 22 in SF. You may want to check it out sometime.
Scott
Nice update, you've got very thick hair. I would love to see your hair hagrid style :)
Do you comb or brush it when it's dry? What helps me a lot is only combing in the shower when wet and full of conditioner. After that I let it air dry and don't touch it anymore. This reduces a lot of the volume and helps to prevents frizzy hair.
Hi rowie,
You may or may not remember me, but I remember you well, and it is great to see you posting on the board once again, and yes, it has been a long time. You have a great head of hair to work with, and your thickness is outstanding. I would be happy to have even 1/2 the thickness that you have in that segemented tail!
Take care, and keep it growing!
David
Rowie,
Nice to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by the board. Seems like you are enjoying your journey. Keep it growin' 'n' flowin'!
peace, jonalbear
Hey rowie,
A big shout-out to you, too ^_^ !... and wow, you've got quite impressive hair :o !!! Super thick at the bands and I bet it your hair never breaks, does it :D ??? I think poofy hair looks pretty cool when it gets all poofy but can sometimes be a pain to manage. You must take pretty good care of your hair - I'm a little jealous :) ! Ah well, that's what's unique about hair, everyones hair is different :) . You're hair'll look real impressive when it's super long... keep it growin' :D !
So what were you doing in Nevada :o ??? Never have been there, but there's not much there except for the occasional tourist attraction, is there :p ?... but then again, the same can be said about here, so I better watch what I say ~_~ heh.....
Hope the rest of your humid summer goes alright on the east coast. Please take it easy and hope to see you around here on the board more often ^^ !
Sincerely,
Eric
