why do you let your hair grow ?
i grew my hair because i wanted my hair long.
i continue growing because i want it longer.
Why do you ask such a crap question?

Maybe if you read the other posts you would find out.

Good answer:)
So I can chew on my hair when i'm nervous.
...without using the mirror.
You should ask the body why it keeps producing hair.
I let my hair grow long for one basic reason: It is something that I WANT TO DO!!! If I choose the neat look then I'll tie it back. If I choose to not have the neat look then I just let it be FREE! Generally, I let it be FREE!
why are you at the message board for men with long hair and ask a stupid question? is your hair grown out long?
1: Because it feels right to me (and IS me).
2: I have a mind of my own and really could care less if people like how I look or not.
3: MOST women enjoy how it feels on their body.
Well, that's my perspective on this, anyway.
Once upon a time, in the third or forth grade, I was reading a book about the history of children.
One chapter had three pictures of boys in history.
The boy of the past wore long (shoulder-length hair) and wore animal skins.
The boy of the present wore a crew-cut hairstyle and wore modern clothing.
The boy of the future was shown bald (no hair) and worn some of type of one-piece jumpsuit.
I asked myself what hairstyle I wanted and from the three boys, chose the hairstyle of the boy of the past. I suppose that was when I decided that I was a long hair.

I don't. It just has a mind of it's own.

I'm not going to tell.
Maybe because I like to have hair. And not stubble. To each their own.

Because it makes me feel like an individual. Putting up with all the negative comments and continuing to let it grow strengthens my character. And, of course, I have always wanted to do it!
