Hey guys upon doing research I decided to posted an article about oil treatment for your hair, and which oils correspond to certain hair types.
Have any of you used any kinds of oils, if so, what has your experience been like and what kind of hair do you have?
Feel free to post here or under the article in the comments section.
Oil Treatment for Hair
When my hair is really knotty after a trip to the beach, or a long brush-free spell, I use olive oil to soften it up. It works wonders. Now, I'd learned this from a tip saying it's a great moisturizer. It may in fact be a moisturizer but far from a great one, as I've never been able to get the excess out of my hair in fewer than two showers. It always looks stringy after a treatment, so if I'm going out again soon I'll only use it on the tips; if I'm staying in, I'll let it stick a while before washing it out.
Yeah, people say that it's great on your tips, and that it's even better if you have dandruff or flaking. olive oil can be great at preventing or reducing those embarrassingly noticeable flakes by applying to to your scalp.
P.S. I have only used olive oil on my hair so I was hoping I would get more reply's about the different oils like lavender and rosemary.
I hear apple cider vinegar does great things to hair, but I'm too paranoid about the acidity to give it a try without some first-hand accounts.
Yeah, I don't know enough about apple cider vinegar, but I would put something moisturizing like oil, rather than something acidic.
