So how many of us here play video games? I was thinking after seeing another forum post on another site: Have video games affected your opinion on hair? I mean,it did not for me, but I do think that there are some positive male role models in games with long hair, such as Zero from the Megaman series.
Aren't the majority of video game characters crested by
programmers in Japan?
I don't know if I'd say majority. From the Japanese game character and long hair standpoint Sephiroth FFVII...nuff said.
I've been under the impression that many of the video
games are created in Japan in Japanese. The more successful
ones are translated into english and sold to consumers in the
US of A. (My impression is that this was true when
Sony was the 800 pound gorilla in the video game business and
Nintendo wss the only competition. Prior to Xbox. Does this still hold true?)
Not so much any more. XBOX360 games are usually put out by Microsoft studios in conjunction with another developer. The only two big player from Japan these days I think are Square Enix (Final Fantasy franchise) and Konami (Metal Gear). There's probably more for Wii but I'm not in to Nintendo, I only play 360, PS1, and PS2 along with old SEGA genesis. Most of the games in my hefty stash are a North American or European developer.
I would add if you're going go to buy games and/or a game
system to avoid Sony. Wall Street analysts are out with
warnings that Sony is going to go the way of Borders and others
who disappeared.
File under my how the mighty have fallen. Betwenen the laptop battery fiaseo, the hacking of the Playstation on line fiasco,
and lots of production delays the Sony empire is hurting big time.
Never bought a PS3 or Vita for that reason, plus none of the games impressed me much. I still have my ancient (remember the gray block) PS1 and a PS2 and i like those games better than alot of modern ones lol.
Geralt of Rivia :)
Seriously though tell me that ain't some epic hair. The back is like butt length.
