Got my new avatar posted. Now when you press the pic to make it enlarge, a large picture of my OLD AVATAR comes up. What gives?

I think the problem is with you own computer as it remembers your old avatar from before. I'm not an expert but you might have to do a refresh of your system.
Did you try clearing your cache?

Aha, I think that is what I was trying to say.If you have an Apple computer go to a store and they will show you how to do it but it's not that hard to do actually.
Usually this is a cache problem, but can be solved by pressing F5 (or CMD + R on mac) in the webbrowser. This doesn't solve the problem, I also tried erasing my cache but the old picture is still there. So in this case it seems to be a problem on the website.
Nope, I'm seeing the same problem and I've never clicked his avatar before. So the problem is more likely the wrong photo is linked on the site.

I have only limited access, but from looking at the code (page source), it appears the old and new pictures have the same name. The icons are stored in a different directory than the full size pictures, so both files may not have been updated, or the old one may not have been overwritten due to the name similarity. I can only speculate since I am not an admin.
Just a suggestion:
You could try uploading the picture again, but this time change the name of the file. That way there won't be a name conflict.

Thanks for your efforts, Jason. But, I rebooted my laptop and also my iPhone, and the problem is still showing up on both of them.

Try hitting refresh a few times. I definitely changed the file that your avatar is linking to.
