Research offers new hope for baldness cure
I have to ask: If Vitamin D could be the cure for baldness could the shortage of Vitamin D in your diet be the cause of baldness?
I now alot of it has to do with your genes and heredity but could
an adequate amount of vitamin D in your diet prevent baldness
or even delay the onset?
Some food for thought as I chow down on this glass of milk.
I drink a ton of whole Vitamin D milk as part of my bodybuilding regimen, and have always been a heavy milk drinker my whole life. Still began thinning once I hit my 30s and had to go on my restoration/growth regimen to get a good mane growing again.
So, for me anyway, Vitamin D doesn't seem to make a difference. Good thing my regimen does!! :)
Hi - I'm a longhair with a thinning top.
Can you describe your restoration regimen? I'm considering looking into the scary hair-replacement places, because I can't find a satisfactory option otherwise ....
Thanks!
Hi there!
Sure, basically I'm on the big 3 and additionally taking a round of supplements that serves for both hair growth and bodybuilding purposes.
Big 3:
Minoxidil 5%
Finasteride (1.25mg -- 1/4 of generic proscar tab)
Nizoral shampoo, alternating 1% and 2% EOD
Supps:
Cayenne pepper
Fish oil
Multi
Zinc
Magnesium
Vitamin B complex
Biotin
MSM
Saw Palmetto standardized extract
Aside from that I've recently discovered the wonders of taking cold showers every day which is supposed to both be good for hair and boost testosterone (in addition to other benefits)
Good luck! My hair before starting compared to it now is truly a night and day difference. Hope you get good results.
Thanks for the advice!!
